2026 Outstanding Paper by a Graduate StudentOpen for SubmissionsThe Society of Civil War Historians will once again present a $500 award to a graduate student for delivering an outstanding paper at the SCWH’s Biennial Conference in Richmond, Virginia, this June. Graduate students on the conference program should submit their papers — exactly as written for the conference — no later than May 1, 2026. The winner will be announced at the conference.
